It seems crazy that for so long I liked you from afar, and now we’ve finally shared a kiss.

I thought in this lifetime it would never happen, but after a few short years, it suddenly all makes sense.

So quickly my feelings developed for you; its’s crazy to believe a simple crush wouldno longer feel like an empty abyss.

The short walk we shared and 21 questions all led to a place I couldn’t image.

These feelings I’ve developed for you hit me almost instantaneously.

Your golden retriever smile, your dark brown eyes, and freshly tamed hair make me believe that these feelings could carry me anywhere.

These memories we’ve created in this studio room have finally closed the distance between us two.

These last 2 weeks have made me feel like the answer has always been you.

But this stage of our lives is over, and I had to go. We’ve created a long-distance connection because I couldn’t let go.

The late-night phone calls, hoping for your texts. Missing your touch and craving your voice grazing my ears.

I wonder how much longer until we can put this distance to rest.
